- Once your sponsorship is approved, the Service Canada immigration agency will issue you an Employment Authorization Document (EAD), which you will carry with you at all times while working or studying in Canada.
- You are expected to comply with all the company’s policies and procedures while working in Canada.
- You must provide proof of your sponsorship application and supporting documents to the Service Canada immigration agency when you arrive in Canada.
- The Service Canada immigration agency will process your application and issue you an EAD you must carry while working or studying in Canada. IMPORTANT: If you are not sponsored by a company or your sponsorship is cancelled, you will not be allowed to work or study in Canada. You will need to apply for a temporary resident visa.
- If you are sponsored by a company and your sponsorship is cancelled, you can re-apply for new support if you meet the requirements.
